Last week we had Graham's family stay with us. His niece Prue, and myself did a little photo shoot with Mietta. The photos came out great, so I am excitedly planning to use some of them in future layouts!

Birthday Cake

Last weekend, Suzie gave me a surprise 50th birthday party! I celebrated it at the Condingup Tavern with approx 45 friends and family there!This is the cake she created and was decorated with scrapbooking embellishments! She did a beautiful job!

Hi Girls

I Know I Know I have been slack (If you call unpacking slack) have not been scrapping lately due to the move but i think i have finaaly finished unpacking and have finally got a little time to scrap so hopefully now i can keep you posted on my progression, But dont worry i have still been checking up on the blog to try and keep up and see what you are all up to Miss all you guys soooo much

At CWA last week, we scrapbooked covers for notebooks, a good way to use up some smaller pieces of scrap patterned papers!

As I was feeling all inspired from today at stitch, I was able once my motherly and wifely duties were complete to slip out to my scrap shack and do another layout while my beloved watched footy....(Football is good for something...lol)

Glamour Girls I use the absolutely gorgeous "Lemonade" from Basic grey..I have bought these papers as a kit and heap of individual sheets they are just yummy and this layout is probably the first of many... Basic grey is fast becoming my favourite brand

Over the weekend

My girls are getting into scrapbooking so over the weekend we all retreated out to my scrap shack and I did these 2 layouts The one above is using Kaisercraft paper and the one below I am not too fussed about its the second time I have used that sketch and I much prefer the first all the same its done using Basic Grey...Porcelain range

Mischa

Happy Birthday

We have just had a weekend over in Dunsborough seeing Ash, Asha and our little grand-daughter Mischa, who we hadn't seen since the end of February! While there I made her a little fairy butterfly cake for an early 3rd birthday celebration! Also we had a 50th candle for me to blow out!

Tamworth

Another layout of our trip, this one of myself meeting "Slim Newton"- a country and western singer, in Tamworth at his launch of the CD - 'Redback On The Toilet Seat'. The paper I used was a "On This Day -Webster paper".

Another layout. I really like these photos of my two boys. The papers are the "Lime Rickety" Collection by Basic Grey. I am really getting to like their products at the moment these ones are nice and bright good for kids and it is another Becky Fleck pagemap

One Already!

Our little grand-daughter is one year old! Did this quick layout this afternoon around at Bel's. We got the Cricut going and Bel cut the little bird, branches and title out for me to complete the page!

Inspired

After the retreat that I have been going on about for the last few blog entries I called in at Karen Smiths shop at Hyden on the way home. After a short conversation Amy questioned whether I shouldnt be sick of scrapbooking after a whole weekend of it and I must say I actually find them inspiring they get the creative juices flowing again. Here are another 3 layouts I have done since I have got home, I think I am always going to make kits from now on

Seal Bay

Quite like how this one turned out! Split a large star, divided it and added the photos etc.
These seals are in a colony on Kangaroo Island, we were on a guided tour (only way to do it), so were able to get down onto the beach to view them within metres!

Grandma

On our trip around Australia, we visited my Grandma in Buberim, Q'ld. She is 94 years old now and still has her memory and sense of humour! One amazing woman!!

For the layout I used up some scrap papers & bits - something I should do a bit more often!

Double layouts from the retreat

This is the last of my retreat layouts, as you can see I got alot done. This was due to the fact that I preorganised my photos and papers into kits and used pagemaps from Becky Flecks website.
I have a few kits left over so I will be completing those over the next few weeks

A double page layout of some holiday photos of pelicans that we fed on Kangaroo Island, S.A. Quite happy with how the pages turned out, after getting an idea from one of Gayle's layouts recently!

Mietta's 1st Birthday

Last night we celebrated Mietta's belated first birthday! Granny (me) made her a butterfly cake. She thought the coloured lollies were okay!

Scrapbooking retreat in Jarrahdale

Yes thats right I have been to yet another retreat at this rate I will catch up on my scrapbooking in no time.. It was a really good weekend I was a bit nervous about going on my own and having to bunk with complete strangers but it was really good these are some of the layouts I did there are alot more but I will post them in the next day or two

We're Home!l

Well, we are back, after three and a half months on the road going around Oz. What a beautiful country! We have so much to see and do!

Took lots of photos, so hopefully in the coming weeks I'll get organised and off CLOUD 9, and scrap some of them!!!

Today our little grand-daughter Mietta came to visit, she is now one year old, has four teeth, chatters away and walking everywhere confidently!

We missed everyone so much!
