Daddy Time

On a usual Friday catch up with the girls I did this very easy layout I love it and the caption says it all.

The Trek to Ravy

On a recent trek to Ravy I attended a Class with Karen Smith (Scrappin Outback) and the local ravy girls it was great and the girls were all very lovely and welcoming. The class was based on using Buttons as the main embellishment I did the first layout of my daughter Alice (who is now alot older) and the second one is of my son Clint these layouts were heaps of fun and I love the way the Buttons look I will definetly using Buttons on more layouts (Thanks Karen for the inspiration).

18th Birthday

Recently it was my eldest daughters 18th Birthday and I decided to make her a card to mark this special occasion was the first time I had tackled anything like this but was really pleased with the results and she loved it.

The Family

This a quick easy layout I did at an evening class recently with Justine Quinlivan (Just Inspired). Photo:- of my son and his family on a recent visit to the farm!

It's Playtime

Another layout completed from the Ravy class last week. Had a bit of trouble finding some lettering suitable, until Belinda came to the rescue, and gave me some from her collection, which I think go well with the patterned paper. Thanks Bel!

Ravy Class

Yesterday Kylie and I attended Karen Smith's (Scrappin'Outback) class at Ravensthorpe. Thanks to the girls for making us feel so welcome, we had a great time and it was worth the drive over from Condi! Here are a couple of my layouts that I completed while there. We used flower and button embellishments on our works.

Welcome Little One

Recently I purchased a "Page Kit" from Justine Quinlivan (Just Inspired). Today at our Friday's Stitch and Scrap group I created and completed my layout of my new little grand-daughter, at age four weeks! Quiet pleased with how it turned out!

Since the scrap-a-thon

I have been slowly scrapping my sisters wedding photos and they are coming along nicely would have liked to have had them done by her first anniversary but that has been and gone there's always her second I suppose

This one of Alex getting a merit certificate at school was actually done before the scrap-a-thon. I made a pocket to slide the certificate in and out of.....

Vagabond paper challenge with Becky Fleck pagemap

I loved the preset challenge that we had to complete before the scrap-a-thon and then take it with us to show each other what we had done with it.. I think if we have another scrap-a-thon we will do that again

Photo Swap

Photo Swap Challenge

On the Sunday of our scrap-a-thon, each of us did a photo swap. This is a layout by Dee using Linda's photos of Mischa, ringing on her toy mobile phone. Title : 'Ring. Ring. Why Don't You Give Me A Call? -by ABBA.

Vagabond Papers Challenge

Before our recent Condi Scrap-a-thon, Belinda set our group a challenge to create a double page layout using only Vagabond papers and to follow a set page map, one by Heidi Swapp. Then to bring them to the weekend completed. They all turned out great and so different. We had a little competition, judged by Rose's sister and the winners were Dee and Linda!
My layout is of my grand-daughter Mischa on an outing with her family to Ellensbrook Homestead, down in one of the National Parks near Dunsborough, WA.

Many Faces Of Mietta

This is one of the layouts I completed, where we tried to aviod using squares and only used circles. I half got it right?!

The " L O V E" mongrams were made by Belinda, using papers of coordinating colours.
A couple more mongrams. The "R" was completed by Belinda and the "L" by Linda. It was fun doing them

At our recent scrap-a-thon our group had a go at some "off the page" monograms. I did the letters of my family's names! More above from other girls.
