Lynne Herbert Card Class
At the Hyden Retreat this time we had a new tutor Lynne Herbert who held a card worshop
which involved stamping, using cuttlebug and sewing and coloring in with Copic Markers was very daunting to start with especially the coloring in but once you got the hang of the blending of the colors it was gr8 was very fiddly but liked them that much stayed up late at the motel to complete all four cards that we were showed. Love the result hope she is able to teach more cards thanks Lynne.

Show Entry Sucess (Suprise Suprise)
I have only been Scrappin for about a year now I decided to enter two sections in this years show , with nothing to lose I patiently sat down and created these layouts and luck on my side it paid off I recieved
1st Double Page Layout -any theme
2nd Single or Double Page Layout-Focus on Esperance
I could not believe it as there was quite a few entries that were all so beautiful. I was as you can imagine on cloud nine for the next few days.

Daddy Time
The Trek to Ravy
On a recent trek to Ravy I attended a Class with Karen Smith (Scrappin Outback) and the local ravy girls it was great and the girls were all very lovely and welcoming. The class was based on using Buttons as the main embellishment I did the first layout of my daughter Alice (who is now alot older) and the second one is of my son Clint these layouts were heaps of fun and I love the way the Buttons look I will definetly using Buttons on more layouts (Thanks Karen for the inspiration).

All Dressed Up
Crikey
On a recent Mallee Root trip we had quite a surprise when we found this lizard in the pile we were picking Clint was in his element but he was a bit scared it may bite. I think next time I will definetly bit more careful I was worried more about snakes but now I have the lizards to contend with too.
Mothers Day Boxes
I have just finished these boxes which are like the Explosion Boxes we learnt to make in Hyden but I have made the outside of the box a bit different inside the boxes I have put my mum and my motherinlaws photo inside and then on each tab I have put Mothers Verses in something the perfect mothers day gift.

The Grandparents Story
I recently started this book as a birthday present for my mother in law I have called it the "Grandparents Story" and have filled it with pictures of the grandkids with a heap of little quotes about grandkids and grandparents. Really pleased with the results and I'm sure she will love it.
I did this layout at the recent Hyden Retreat using the Rule of Thirds taught to us by Alli Paterson . It was quick simple but very effective.

Just a Beginner But definintley getting better
These are some pages I have done recently I haven't been Scrappin for long, but have been fortunate enough to be a part of our little circle of scrappers, just meeting like we do has taught me alot and given me so much inspiration When you think it's impossible and you think that you cant it is amazing what can be done when you set your mind to it .
